In this growing and challenging environment, we are looking to strengthen our European Technology Platform and Engineering team, whose responsibility is to design, support and improve 14 pet food factories.
In order to achieve always more challenging projects in a pet welfare environment and within the respect of Nestlé people core values, we are looking for several:

- Process Lines
Key responsibilities
You will have the responsibility to define and to set the operational standards related to machine and product optimization. In addition of this, you will have to drive equipment operation improvement and to roll out the continuous improvement initiatives that you will have validated ensuring cross-fertilization between our production sites.
In our area of competencies (Process or Packaging, or Utilities), you will be responsible to define the standards through detail line design for the whole of our factories; you will have to deliver equipment specifications and P&ID, including the selection of the suppliers. In charge of the technical standard, you will have also the reasonability to carry-out the line commissioning and line qualification before start-up.
In the maintenance area, you will have to define and to deliver an harmonization of the preventive maintenance program across the sites for our standard platform, including recommended spare list and support to defect breakdown analyses.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Intermediate (B1)

Personality requirements and skills

Education and experience
 Undergraduate degree or equivalent in technical and/or scientific discipline.
 Minimum 3/4 years in the corresponding technical field (R&D or operations), preferably in the food manufacturing or consumer goods industry for junior roles, 5 years for a senior role.
 Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross Functional teams.
 Strong Continuous Improvement mindset in multicultural environment
 Strong team orientation

With the mission to profitably maximize the visibility and the sales of Nestlé strategic brands in Duty Free, NITR’s activities focus on meeting the needs of the duty free shopper worldwide, mainly in airports but also in border stores, ferries, cruise ships and on board certain airlines. NITR’s sells mainly confectionery (KitKat, Smarties, Nestlé Swiss, After Eight amongst others), but also Milks (Nido) and Coffee (Nescafé).
