Personality requirements and skills
In this role the successful candidate will be participating in all stages of the software development lifecycle in Agile environment. Interact with product management to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications, assist with systems integration and ensure successful development and deployment of key components of Maps products.
Requirements:
• Ability to work independently from Kosice office, close cooperation with virtual team and customer based in Berlin
• Active communication in English on daily basis
• Knowledge of Agile methodology – active participation on daily stand up meetings and other scrum ceremonies
Technical skills:
Must have:
• Senior Java developer (Java version 1.8)
• Solid core java knowledge coupled with a desire to learn Scala.
• It’s a plus if the candidate already did a few personal projects in Scala and/or did some of the • Coursera Scala courses

• Experience developing RESTful web services on the JVM platform
Highly desired:
• Good understanding of backend web technologies: including but not limited to XML, XSD, JSON + schema, protobuf, avro, data modelling, web frameworks spring, play-framework, akka, etc.

Project Skill Set:
