Development Manager

With the growth of our software product engineering business in Kosice, Slovakia and growth of our customer base, we are enforcing our local development management team. We are seeking a hands-on tech-savvy, enthusiastic and flexible Development Manager to manage and/or support our EDC (Extended Delivery Center). Your core responsibilities will include management of software delivery - on time and in desired quality, hands-on technical and people management, building teams, improving process and practices, expanding business, managing relationships with internal and external partners.

Typical Daily Responsibilities:

•Primary focus on achieving high quality and on-time delivery through both personal hands-on involvement and delegation
•Provide managerial and/or technical support to team leaders, tech-leaders, managers
•Mentoring of subordinates and teams to achieve constant improvement in technical execution and professional behavior based on good relationships
•Work hand in hand with Recruitment and HR to ensure stability and growth of the assigned teams
•Work with Global Sales on exploring and supporting new business opportunities
•Work with Program Management Office to ensure implementation of process improvements and execution of corporate campaigns
•Act as the single point of escalation for customers, onsite engagement managers and sales
•Identify potential risks and work on risk mitigation plans
•Actively promote positive attitude, innovations, knowledge sharing
