Personality requirements and skills
- Knowledge of experience with industrial automation: what is a PLC, SCADA, DCS, Conveters
- Knowledge with standard comunication protocols used in industrial automation: CIP, OPC, Modbus
- Good knowledge about scripting test: python scripting, shell scripting
- Required skills for networking and systems test
- Review requirement and design specifications
- Prepare Test Plans needed to deliver testing in a number of functional and non-functional areas with clear scope, objectives, deliverables and risks
- Develop functional test cases (scripts)
- Track and report quantitative and qualitative testing results/metrics in an auditable form
- Strong manual test experience using different techniques like Exploratory, Ad Hoc, Functional, Integration, System, regression
- Ensure testing is carried out in a timely, repeatable and effective fashion
- Defect logging experience with Jira
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to details
