Senior C# Developer

Job description
Our client is a world leader in digital security and the top provider of complex digital and smart cards solutions for all major mobile operators, bank houses and public services.

As a SW development engineer in the division of Government Platform & Services R&D you will contribute to fulfilling the marketing vision of governmental services based on secure electronic documents and electronic identity. You will be exposed to issuance and reading of secure documents (passports, ID cards), biometric devices, mobile handset devices, cryptography, online transactions and digital identity management. You will learn which principles are making the modern e-government a reality.
As a member of our team you will contribute to development of key products and components which are then used by other our teams to deliver tailor-made solutions to governments and citizens all around the globe.

In our team we use .NET mainly for development of desktop applications, integration of specific hardware (e.g. card printers, fingerprint scanners, passport readers), processing of biometric data and also for multiplatform applications using Xamarin.

What will you do?
•You will work in a small team of developers, cooperate closely with project leader on task breakdown and project delivery
• You will analyse the product needs and contribute to product specification
• You will design UML architecture and contribute to implementation of reusable software components and applications for mobile devices
• You will give support to developers from other teams who are using your source codes or binaries
• You will contribute to user documentation of your software
• You will technically support and develop other junior team members

What we require?
• To succeed at this job, you must have very good knowledge of .NET platform and related technologies (WPF, WCF, Prism, Unity), good understanding of web technologies (HTTP, SOAP, REST), relational databases, UML and continuous integration
• It would be preferred if you have also experience, networks and digital security, cryptography, PKI, smart cards, biometry, image processing algorithms, some other software platforms (C/C++, Android, iOS, Java, web applications)
• We would like someone to join our team who is interested in technology, enthusiastic about software development, who is a team-player, autonomous, able to learn and has good communication skills
• You do not need to have a university degree in computer science, but it’s surely an advantage
• Advanced English
