Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for an experienced Unix systems administrator with good networking background who would be happy to participate in our DHCP/DNS management team and take responsibility for maintaining DHCP/DNS entries database and systems running these services.

Responsibilities:
  • A daily support to customers by implementing requested changes in DHCP/DNS: Configuration, troubleshooting popping up issues, and closely cooperating with other teams on ongoing projects. All these activities will be performed on a large scale sophisticated configurations supporting some of the large international companies.
  • After obtaining a certain level of fluency in routine tasks and procedures, there will be opportunity to increase skills and competences by taking responsibility for wider range of activities related to DHCP/DNS infrastructure configuration and management.
  • Update technical documentation

Requirements:
  • DHCP and DNS protocols have to be understood along with configuration of their respective server daemons and troubleshooting utilities.
  • to work comfortably with Unix/Linux operating systems, understand essential administrator tasks and operations, know essential configuration files and mechanisms.
  • to understand basic networking principles (LAN, network abstraction layers, addressing, communication protocols and troubleshooting).
  • Shell scripting skills
  • English - Advanced
