Are you familiar with Linux, Unix or AIX and one of these databases Oracle/MYSQL/MS SQL/DB2? Do you want to work in the 3rd biggest and one of the greenest city of Czech republic Ostrava? Join our International team and work with experts in this area!

What will you do?

NATEK is looking for people ready for challenges. We are building an IT special forces team dealing with applications' problems that regular support departments were not able to resolve. You will be working with the cutting-edge technologies and participate on interesting projects covering many IT technological areas and world's best known clients from various segment of market.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Upkeep of customer’s applications
  • Customer facing on daily basis, communication with vendors and internal specialists
  • Understanding relations and integrations between applications infrastructure and external systems
  • Monitoring from different perspectives
  • Application installations and upgrading
  • Analysing and solving complex problems in multiplatformintegrated system
  • Keeping the whole service up and running

What should you know?

  • Linux / UNIX skills with experience in administration
  • Basic knowledge of one of these databases: Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, DB2
  • Advanced English (at least B2)

What would be nice to have?

  • Experience with application servers such as Tomcat, JBoss, Weblogic, Websphere
  • Monitoring setup understanding, ability to set correct items for monitoring service to specific cases
  • Skills working with ITIL environment welcomed (Automatic monitoring / events / tickets / processes)
