Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for talented and highly motivated individual to fill DNS engineer position. You would be a part of team managing very important part of HP ES infrastructure DNS and related Hostmaster activities.
Responsibilities:
- to improve operational processes by implementing, integrating DNS/DHCP and IP management solutions
- Provide support on existing DNS infrastructure Coordinate rollout and transformations of customers DNS environment & solutions
- Train operational & engineering teams for processes and best practices
- Ensure documentation is up to date
- Ensure Process are followed according to standard
- Implement process optimization
- Proactively propose improvements towards higher efficiency and stability
- Contribute to tools roadmap and strategy using latest technology
Requirements:
- Understand IP Networks concepts (LAN,WAN, Security, Internet, IP Management)
- Excellent knowledge of DNS/DHCP/BOOTP
- Knowledge of IP management tools
- Good Technical expertise in HP-UX and Linux system administration
- Experience in shell scripting Language:
- English mandatory (technical English,read, written, spoken)
- Able to communicate with colleagues located in US
- Previous experience with international, English speaking environment is a plus
