JOB DESCRIPTION:
Do you want to work for the global IT department of one of the world’s largest building materials company? Are you interested in dynamically developing IT technologies? Do you like meeting people from different countries and cultures? Then join the team of our client and become Senior Backup Server Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Applicant will keep operational and administrative responsibility for NetApp backup storage and backup applications Symantec Backup Exec and HP Data Protector.
- Daily activities include configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting as well as implementation of our solutions in new locations as a part of assigned projects.
- Position is opened for working in shifts including night and weekend on call duties
Requirements:
- Proven knowledge of one of these products:
o NetApp storage
o Data Protector
o Backup Exec
- Administrative skills of Microsoft Windows server products (W2008/2012)
- Active Directory and domain environment general knowledge
- VMWare virtualization platform insight is plus
- ITIL experience is advantage
- Customer oriented and target focused
- Very good English language, written and spoken
