Job description, responsibilities and duties

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for configuring and maintaining Microsoft Windows operating system servers, in support of business processing requirements.
- Schedules and performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and other software packages and provides post implementation validation and remediation in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels.
- Ensures server data integrity by implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions.
- Immediate response to system outages and prompt attention to non-outage problem tickets for a large scale environment.

Requirements:
- 2-3 years of Windows System Administration Experience
- Operating System knowledge (Microsoft Windows Server 2000/2003/2008)
- Incident and Problem Management including Root Cause analysis for OS and Hardware incidents
- Server Hardware knowledge
- Software, Firmware, and Driver updates and management
