Job description, responsibilities and duties

Habitat Area Office for Europe and the Middle East (EME) and Africa is currently seeking to recruit for a Finance Team Support Intern with Ukrainian language. 

What would be your responsibilities?

As a Finance Team Support Intern with Ukrainian language, you will provide support to the Finance team to support the Habitat Area Offices in EME (Europe and the Middle East) and AFR (Africa) region, as well as a newly opened branch in Ukraine. The main responsibilities would be:

  • Accounting documentation
  • Communication with vendors
  • Communication with staff
  • Record retention
  • General administrative support
  • Provide support for meetings (refreshments, setting up the meeting room)​

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Ukrainian - Upper intermediate (B2)

What do we expect?

  • Must be a full-time university student
  • Interest in a long-term internship for at least a year
  • Ability to use English and Ukraine language for administrative communication
  • Ability to fill out forms and carry out routine administrative tasks with precision
  • Digital skills (MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), any database or knowledge system is welcomed

What are we looking for? 

  • Bachelor or 1st year Master's university student with a specialization in finance or business administration
