Job description, responsibilities and duties

External communications/Marketing:
• Identify and create a regional editorial contact list of both traditional media and digital influential bloggers/writers who specialize on covering urbanization, community development and affordable and sustainable housing in EMEA.
• Identify the most frequently covered housing and urban development issues in EMEA’s international and regional media.
• Help identify topics or problems related to urban development and housing that are currently missing from the international or regional coverage.

Web communications/social media:
• Work with the internet intern to review content on the EMEA website and update it as needed.
• Help post updates and content on the Europe Housing Forum site (new articles, materials and pictures) connected to the housing and urban development topics in Europe.
• Suggest ideas for content to maintain EMEA’s social media content.



Working time - approximately 20hrs per week with flexible working hours

• Journalism or related studies and experience; interested in social and traditional media and engaging with different audiences.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English; knowledge of another language helpful.
• Want to play a role in influencing public ‘conversation’ and behaviour.
• Working on a degree and can see this internship as an integral part of their future career development.
