Job description, responsibilities and duties

This position is part of the Mondelez Global Treasury Structure, focusing mainly on Project Management and Treasury Operations activities in Europe and other regions. The major areas of competency will be Global Bank account management (BAM) and Global Bank guarantees (BGs) / Letters of Credit (LCs). The position holder will be part of Project team for Implementation of new Treasury Management System (TMS) and will seek for efficiencies and improvements in processes around BAM, BGs, KYC and Tax Compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Participate on TMS Project by leading the Project string for Bank account management (BAM) and Bank guarantees (BGs). Coordinate the implementation, master data transition and perform the necessary testing scenarios.- Support the Regional Treasury Operations team to service the MEU region from Treasury perspective
  • Ensure the establishment of Best Practice processes and Identify and implement the process efficiencies in BAM and BGs.
  • Support the Treasury Operations team with the opening and closing of bank accounts based on the request from the Local Finance Controlling, Mondelez International Finance or from other functions
  • Maintain the existing cash pooling structures and set up new ones if needed
  • Support the Treasury Operations team with Bank signatories updates, KYC process and seek for process efficiencies in this area
  • Support the team within Treasury related Tax Compliance (FATCA, CRS, UK CDOT& Others)
  • Support the global project of Centralization of Bank guarantees within new Global providers
  • Cooperate with external/internal auditors in Statutory audit (confirmation letters), SOX compliance activities
  • Support the cross regional cooperation with other Treasury hubs, share the experience and best practices for areas within the scope of responsibility

Requirements for the employee

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

  • University degree or equivalent (Finance, Economics or Accounting)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and strong ability to build relationship within organization
  • Advanced level of English to enable day to day communication (spoken and written)
  • Highly organized and able to successfully manage multiple priorities and assignments within agreed timelines
  • Proactive and resourceful in solving problems, offering innovative and practical solutions in dynamic environment
  • High level of numerical and analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Banking applications and MS Office literacy in particularly Excel, PowerPoint
  • 3-4 years of work experience in Finance (ideally within a large multinational’s Treasury or Finance department)
  • Good understanding of Treasury related processes within an international business
  • Experience in Finance Centralization or Project Management within larger organisation, or SSC would be an asset
