Job description, responsibilities and duties

Team member of Procurement Services Team (PST) supporting the Mondelez Europe Procurement organization provides high quality Info Record Management activities to the Procurement Organization, ensuring that SLAs and other service obligations are met for the work within scope of the role.

This position is accountable for:
  • Daily Operational Responsibilities within MRP/Info Records area
  • Proactive interaction with internal stakeholders and Local Procurement colleagues
  • Communication with external suppliers in order to acquire valid prices or resolve issues with delivery
  • Participation and support on projects or other ad-hoc testing activities if required

Operational Responsibilities
  • Info Record and Source List creation/maintenance
  • MRP Purchase Orders creation/maintenance
  • Regular follow up of MRP open items
  • Send Requests For Quotation to suppliers and submit received prices to local Procurement for approval
  • Send Price Lists to suppliers and submit received prices to local Procurement for approval
  • Ensure proactive resolution of identified issues
  • Participate, as a system key user, to improve PST operational efficiency

Ensure SLA’s & KPI’s
  • Ensure SLAs and service obligations are met for the work within scope
  • Ensure the fulfillment and update of the process documentation

Compliance, Reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all internal guidelines and external regulations e.g. SOX, Global -
Procurement Policy, Global Master Data Policy
  • Support relationship with internal stakeholders and Local Procurement colleagues

Know the ethical and legal compliance responsibilities of the position; lead ethically and model compliant behavior; maintain an environment where employees can speak up without fear of retaliation; ensure employees in area of responsibility understand the compliance responsibilities of their jobs and actively participate in the compliance program.

Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Required:
  • Proven experience in data processing, computer applications or call centre applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, pro-activity and ability to work on own initiative
  • Good team player
  • Analytical, precise and well organized
  • Strong systems skills: MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated success in business process ideally gained in Sourcing/Purchasing or Accounts Payable areas
  • Advanced in English language
  • Advanced in language of supported country or other -
  • European language (German, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Dutch, Swedish)

Preferred:
  • University degree
  • Understanding of the Mondelez Business / policies and procedures
  • Experience with SAP ECC module
  • Experience working with international teams
  • Experience working in SSC/Outsourcing environment within a large international environment for 3-5 years
