Ensuring of quality control of incoming raw materials,semifinished, finished products and new packaging materials in line with MDLZ specifications and legislation requirements
Verification of qualitative parameters compliance to specifications in process control and initiation of nonconformity records and verification of corrective actions

Lab Technician - Chemist

Verification of qualitative parameters compliance to specifications in process control and initiation of nonconformity records and verification of corrective actions
Main Responsibilities
- Execute work in line with IMS (Integrated Management System) requirements and valid MDLZ policies and documents. Keep all safety and security rules determinated for safety, protection of health at work, protection of property, environment and food safety in line with valid legislation and MDLZ SK a MDLZ International requirements
- Follow GLP (Good laboratory practice) rules and prescribed laboratory procedures according to MDLZ Global Analytical Manual requirements
- Ensure product quality by means of laboratory control of raw materials, semifinished, finished products and new packaging materials in line with ISO 9001:2000, MDLZ International, MDLZ SK and SK legislative requirements.
- Participate in Proficiency tests on analytical chemistry organized within MDLZ to prove capability and reliability of measurement results.
- Ensure sampling of raw materials and semifinished products for analytical control as well as archiving of back-up samples
- Keep and maintain precise records (analyses performed, results obtained) in SAP system.By means of computer and relevant software (MINITAB) evaluate the trends in results of incoming materials, process and sensory controls
- Update all relevant procedures and QMS (Quality Management System) documents in compliance with global MDLZ methods and Quality Policies' requirements
- Ensure all extra required analytical and sensory analyses
- Plan and prepare all data and details to ensure smooth running of laboratory concerning equipment, materials/consumables and services.
- Issue purchase orders for materials and services for Quality Assurance department

- Secondary school focused on analytical chemistry and/or food industry
- Good Laboratory Practice
- Knowledge of analytical and sensorial methods, basis of production technology
- Handling with hazardous materials, caustics, flammable liquids
- Work with PC- Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Competence of food sensory assessment
- Practical training experience 2 years
- English written and spoken
- Slovak language is required
