Purpose of the role:
  • Ensuring of quality control of incoming raw materials, semifinished and finished products in line with MDLZ specifications and legislation requirements
  • Verification of product food safety and quality, hygienic and sanitary conditions in production and non- production areas

Main responsibilities of the role:
  • Execute work in line with IMS (Integrated Management System) requirements and valid MDLZ policies and documents. Keep all safety and security rules determinated for safety, protection of health at work, protection of property, environment and food safety in line with valid legislation and MDLZ SK a MDLZ International requirements
  • Follow GLP rules and prescribed microbiological laboratory procedures according to MDLZ Global Microbiological Manual requirements
  • Ensure product food safety and quality by means of laboratory control of raw materials, semifinished and finished products, control of environmental conditions in production and non-production areas in line with ISO 9001:2000, MDLZ International, MDLZ SK and SK legislative requirements
  • Ensure sampling of raw materials and environmental samples for microbiological control as well as archiving of back-up samples
  • Keep and maintain precise records (analyses performed, results obtained) in SAP/KPA system
  • By means of computer in follow and evaluate the trends in results
  • Ensure proper disposal of infectious materials, preparation of sterile lab materials
  • Ensure all extra microbiological analyses
  • Participate on activities focused on the next professional development in HACCP and quality assurance areas

Secondary with school-leaving examination

Educational Specialization

Food Microbiology

Language skills

English - Intermediate (B1) and Slovak - Proficiency (C2)

Personality requirements and skills

Main responsibilities:
  • Secondary school focused on Food Microbiology
  • Practical training experience 2 years required
  • Must have good Laboratory Practice
  • Handling with laboratory infectious materials
  • Knowledge of microbiological methods and procedures used
  • Strong PC skills - Word, Excel
  • Competence of food sensory assessment
  • Fluent in English - both spoken and written
  • Fluent in Slovak - both spoken and written
