To our office in Bratislava we are currently looking for

VAT Master Data Analyst

In this role you will be keep up to date VAT related information regarding finished goods produced by Mondelez. You will be maintaining the material master data finance screen in the regional workflow (RWF).

Your responsibilites will include:
  • Maintaining accurate and timely creation of new SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) and SKU extension (in country/plant) in accordance with legal and company requirement
  • Country of Origin (mandatory)
  • Region of origin ( mandatory only for certain countries)
  • Commodity code (mandatory)
  • VAT tax classification (mandatory for selling country code and country code(s) of the plant(s)
  • Coordinating tax rate assessment within the region
  • Aligning with local tax key users and – if necessary - local tax/customs authorities
  • Monitoring local VAT and customs legislation throughout the region and initiate the required actions
  • Maintaining the commodity code catalogue in SAP (t-604) and ensure validity

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Personality requirements and skills

To be successful in this role we need you to have:
  • 1-2 years working experience in VAT or Accounting experience
  • University degree
  • Knowledge in European VAT and customs regulations prefered
  • Good level of MS Office – Word, Excel, Power Point is needed
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of SAP
  • Must be fluent in English - both written and spoken
  • Other European language is a plus
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Action oriented, proactive and resourceful in solving problems
  • Ability to set priorities (time management)
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
  • Organization of own work, able to work under pressure to meet priorities and deadlines
  • Good coordination skills, ability to work effectively
  • Must be a good team player
  • Ability to work effectively in an international environment
