Technology Process Engineer will manage and execute the innovation, renovation as well as productivity projects in the process technology area. Improve and stabilize a technology of production process, support process control systems in the production. Identify and analyse non-conform process situations on the production line, propose corrective action plan and organize its implementation.


Main responsibilities:

Provide specific projects resulting from the plan for innovation and renovation of products prepared by R&D department:
  • prepare materials for production, innovation and new packaging
  • prepare technical and human resources necessary to ensure trials
  • conduct tests necessary for project development in accordance with the specifications (recipes, techniques, packaging), defined I2M SPEED methodologies
  • collect and check the results and write reports on tests
  • update the project files in MyProject

Perform industrialization of innovative projects, renovation projects and productivity:
  • participate in defining the specifications of the new device and suggests improvements
  • introduce new recipes with preparing for costing
  • participate in the preparation of human and technical resources to support the production of the tests carried out product
  • define the parameters for the quality self-diagnostics system used on production lines in accordance with ISO
  • prepare training, train operators, key operators and operation manager
  • active participate on meetings of development teams that define the transition from development to production phase
  • contribute to the economic development of standards for projects

Check technological discipline on production lines:
  • work with the Department of Quality Assurance to improve the auto-control system in accordance with the final product specification documents, standards of hygiene and HACCP food safety
  • improve the quality of production systems through SPC, Lean 6-sigma process and update specifications and related production materials
  • identify and implement actions necessary to improve the competitiveness of manufactured products: productivity projects, COGS, product testing new suppliers
  • implement systems with best practice and train operators, key operators and operations manager accordingly

Identify the nonconformity of production process, propose corrective actions and ensure its effective implementation:
  • participate in the identification of non-conforming cases in terms of product quality and / or industrial processing,
  • propose measures to return to the standards
  • participate in the development of an action plan and ensure its effective implementation,
  • share results and experiences with other plants and departments

Keeps the work safety, food safety, environmental and integrated management system rules in the area entrusted to this position.

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Food Industry Technology

Language skills

Czech - Proficiency (C2) and Slovak - Proficiency (C2) and English - Proficiency (C2)

Personality requirements and skills

Skills/Qualification:

Required:
  • Must be graduated Food Industry Technology Engineer
  • Project management skills required
  • Effective communication with internal and external partners needed
  • Good knowledge of different production processes within the category, quality standards and SSE requirements
  • Process-Engineering / Food-Technology Engineering is desirable
  • Quick problem solving skills
  • Strong computer skills is a must
  • Ability to work in team and independently
  • English (Fluent spoken and written) required

Preferred:
  • Understanding of financial and manufacturing Key Performance Indicators
  • 2 years experiences in Operations (Manufacturing, Business development) is preferred
  • Czech/Slovak language is required
  • Other European languages is a plus
