Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Analyzing, designing and implementing EPM changes to increase effectiveness and efficiency aligned with corporate strategies
  • Working in cross-functional environment with Global / Regional IS and Business Process Excellence (BPE) teams to optimize both EPM Financial Planning and Reporting Systems
  • Working with globally distributed, cross-functional teams to understand new business requirements/gaps and design new solutions for reports, interfaces, enhancements, System Integration (SI) flows, FDM mappings and automation task
  • Helping the business understand system impacts to process improvements and changes
  • Writing functional specifications
  • Creating and executing test scripts on new and existing functionality
  • Working with external partners to implement new functionality according to business requirements
  • Providing post-go live support, investigating defects and fixing issues
  • Providing SME knowledge to the production support teams as needed
  • Preparing documentation and conducting training
  • Fulfilling key project management activities (scope, schedule, budget updates) as needed

  • High level of business process understanding, specifically business and financial processes
  • Strong systems aptitude, specifically experience with Oracle Hyperion
  • Project management, system implementation, financial planning knowledge and excellent execution skills required
  • Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues
  • Ability to work across globally distributed virtual teams
  • Professional maturity and good business acumen
  • Will to lead internal and external resources through complex challenges and develop creative solutions/options
