Job description, responsibilities and duties
Product Costing Analyst is responsible to provide a key service to the category on COGS and product costing to ensure that they are aware of the changes in costs to take the relevant business decisions, including:
• Accuracy, timeliness and integrity of detailed product costing data for the Categories based on data inputs from multiple sources. • Establish standard product cost estimates for manufacturing units in EU markets and distribution centres, for both actual and plan, including NPDs (new products). • Carry out period end activities incl. variance analysis and correction postings. • Assist with reporting tasks and in the creation of internal controls and SOX documentation. • Support on all aspects of data management within SAP ECC, SAP BI and Oracle EPM/FiT. • Provide support/explanations to product cost manager based in Bratislava. • Participate in projects to drive harmonisation and efficiency within the team. • Recommend opportunities proactively to improve the way of working.
Maintain Product Costing Data • Establish standard product cost estimates for manufacturing units in EU and distribution centres. • Quarterly costing for actual. • Budget costing, according to the planning cycles. • Responsible for the input, accuracy, timeliness and integrity of product costing data within SAP based on data inputs from multiple sources including procurement, CS&L, plant controlling, etc.
Analysis and Review • Carry out period end activities incl. variance analysis and correction postings. • Prepare detailed analysis/variance reports for period end as well as budgets, both for internal use and for category finance. This includes preparing of cost bridges and analysing/forecasting commodity impacts. • Assist with the creation of internal controls and SOX documentation. • Tracking of cost centres and COGS (cost of goods sold) P&L lines.
Other • Support the product costing team in ensuring integrity and consistency of data in BI (actual and plan). • Provide proactively recommendations to improve efficiency within the team.

Personality requirements and skills
1. Min. 4-5 years of functional experience in manufacturing controlling, accounting or financial controlling, ideally in an international environment. 2. Previous experience working within SAP integrated environment. 3. University degree or equivalent in economics or financial area. 4. Well organised with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. 5. Ability to work with different systems (SAP, BI, FiT, Microsoft Excel). 6. Good interpersonal and communication skills. 7. Must be a team player. 8. Fluent in English - both written and spoken.
