Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Internal Audit Manager will manage internal audit process for Mondelēz International
Ensure that:
o A system of internal controls and IS controls and procedures are adequate to provide accurate financial reporting and to safeguard corporate assets.
o Mondelēz International corporate and regional EBS policies are being followed.
o Cost saving and business opportunities are identified to IS management.
o Risk-based audit approach is devised in conjunction with in-charge (Lead Audit Senior) to adequately address all significant business and audit risks.
o Business risks are promptly and accurately identified to senior management.
o Internal audits are effectively coordinated with management.
o All audit work is thorough, complete, and has been performed in accordance with IIA standards, MDLZ Internal Audit standards and other relevant industry standards (ISO/ITIL, etc.) depending on focus area of the review.
o Audit results are effectively communicated to senior management and external auditors.
o Audit in-charges (including co-sourcing partner team) are planning and monitoring the internal audit process, providing feedback to team members, and adhering to MDLZ Internal Audit standards.
o Data analytics capabilities are enhanced continually and work towards an integrated audit approach
o Analytical tools and capabilities supporting initiatives such as Continuous Auditing, Continuous Controls Monitoring are developed and enhanced continually

Personality requirements and skills

• Undergraduate degree in Information Systems, accounting, finance or business administration
• Professional internal audit or accounting certification preferred (e.g., CIA, CISA, CPA, CA, etc.);
• Min 10 years of professional experience; some years of audit related experience within a Big-4 accounting firm and/or large corporation’s internal audit department preferred. Strong SAP expertise.
• Valued experience as an IS Manager with ability to support and links risks to finance, process and operational audits;
• Expertise in core SAP (MM, FI, SD, BASIS) and relevant certifications, a plus
• Expertise in SAP security and authorization concepts and relevant certifications, a plus (SAP GRC)
• Knowledge of risk/control frameworks (COSO, COBIT, ITIL, ISO) required;
• Sarbanes-Oxley experience required;
• Enterprise Risk Management experience preferred;
• Strong data analytics expertise (development of robust DA programs) supporting an SAP platform
• Strong project management expertise, relevant certification a plus (PRINCE, etc.)
• Goal-oriented and outgoing with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to think and work analytically;
• Ability to work in a diverse multi-cultural environment;
• Ability to develop strong and lasting relationships with all levels of management;
• Willingness to travel (Up to 75%);
• US GAAP/IFRS experience, a plus;
• Open to short or long term assignment (up to 3 years) within the region or outside, so mobility is a plus;
• Ability to speak fluent a second language, a plus
