Job description, responsibilities and duties
The position owner supports procurement activities for the Procurement spent of ~ $ 100 MM logistic spend associated with Logistic services for International inbound administration..
- Ensuring regular update of Procurement price database for International inbound
- Supporting the administrative tasks associated with international inbound tenders, letters/contracts communication, follow up and physical & electronic storage under the supervision of his/her line manager
- Tracking and follow up the new activity/lanes requests to enable his/her line manager to tender these needs
- On occasion sending pricing request to agreed carrier panel under the supervision of his/her line manager
- Managing the international inbound price database and exchanges with LoadControlCenter upon database extracts
- Tracking price requests and price communications timelines
