Job description, responsibilities and duties

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Provide financial leadership and counselling to Procurement teams responsible for Direct material incl. external manufacturing in developing and implementing sourcing strategies and plans. Support delivery of Margin Improvement and other financial KPIs.
• Manage financial planning and management reporting of material input cost and productivity. Align on financial targets and actuals results between Procurement and Category finance (Categories, Areas and Functions). Support calculation and evaluation of major productivity projects.
• Ensure projects are reported in line with Global savings definitions (Productivity, Value Enablers and Cost Avoidance). Maintain procurement / financial applications (VOLT, EMMIS) and ensure consistency and integrity of all data reported to internal and external stakeholders.
• Continue improving monthly reports and maintain effective reviews of actual results against the targets with Procurement and Business Units. Proactively identify and initiate corrective actions to deliver Productivity (other financial) targets.
• Support and establish financial governance for margin improvement, restructuring and investment projects for Direct material Procurement. Support systems development and suggest improvements in financial reporting processes.
• Support Procurement Controller MEU with ad-hoc analysis and reports required to compile presentations in a timely manner.
