Software Design Engineer (R&D)

We are searching for a leader of young R&D team, working for highly innovative development projects.

The research and development centre MDCK (Minebea Development Centre Košice) collaborates very closely with the Technology Center Europe GmbH in Germany. It offers the best experts from the fields of information technology, electrical engineering, science and research the opportunity to work together. In addition to processing products manufactured directly in the factory in Košice, the centre also focuses on innovation projects in medicine and robotics, as well as SMART solutions for households and cities.
Minebea Slovakia s.r.o. focuses on the development and production of electronically commutated BLDC motors and innovative drive technologies for automotive and industrial customers.

• Development of software architecture
• Implementation of software architecture into embedded software for motor drives
• Designing software supporting embedded software development
• Production of software documentation according to relevant standards
• Creation of software test specifications and support of testing department
• Collaboration on the development of electronics
• Responsibility for software versioning and maintenance
• Participate on code reviews for improving software quality
• Alignment of SW requirements with other teams/departments like Project and System Management, Hardware Design, Software Testing
• Coordination of project workflow, assigning tasks to colleagues and controlling their outcomes (applying for senior position only)
