What is MACH?
The Microsoft Academy for College Hires (MACH) is as an accelerated career development program designed to recruit and hire top-performing graduates across a broad range of roles, and aims to cultivate your talent utilizing training, mentoring, and community support.

• You will be immediately placed in a challenging role with specific learning roadmaps;
• The MACH Program continues for 18-24 months from the time of hire (depending on start date and region);
• At the end of the program, MACH employees join the MACH Alumni community.

Now we are looking for talented and passionate Associate Technical Account Manager for our Premier Support Business, Microsoft Services Department.

What is Premier Support?
Providing customizable solutions complete with enhancement and add-on services, Premier Support helps our customers proactively address risks, minimize downtime, and streamline operations to improve efficiency and accelerate business growth.

Who is Associate Technical Account Manager?
The Associate Technical Account Manager (TAM) provides support delivery management of Premier support services designed to improve customer IT operational health.

Responsibilities:
Associate TAM is the trusted advisor to the account’s Customer Support Manager and the Microsoft owner of the customers IT operational health:
• Manages support delivery on reactive incidents provided by Microsoft Customer Services&Support;
• Maintains Support Delivery Plans that capture situation and analysis for IT Health improvement – also used by sales opportunities and renewal;
• Manages the delivery and follow-up of proactive support designed to reduce reactive support cases and costs.
The value the Associate TAM brings to the customer is successful operation, and hence realization of value, of Microsoft products. The value the TAM brings to Microsoft is increased customer satisfaction, reduced support costs, and awareness needed around product improvements.

On top of these responsibilities, the Associate Technical Account Manager is also driving the operational excellence in the team:
• Providing support to Senior Technical Account Managers and to other colleagues in Services in terms of tools, contracts, delivery management activities;
• Dealing with invoices, purchase orders and subcontractors;
• Doing analytics work.

Qualifications and requirements

• Pursuing or within one year of graduation from University (2015 or 2016 graduate – Bachelor, Specialist or Master Degree);
• Degree in computer science/IT or related technical discipline (ie math, engineering) or economist/business/finance/analytics will be an advantage;
• Working experience in analytical/operations/technical/consulting/sales roles will be an advantage as well;
• Benefit is to have technical overview of Microsoft operating systems and other products;
• Knowledge of competitor products will be an advantage;
• Ability to manage customer communication on the phone through email or via face-to-face meetings;
• Project Management experience is an advantage;
• Strong commercial business acumen;
• Good understanding of the relationship between technology and business;
• Ability to build strong relations with Business and Technical Decision Makers and to become trusted advisor for them;
• Good communication skills;
• Customer focused;
• Great team player;
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
• Strong Excel skills;
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet commitments;
• Time-management and multi-tasking skills;
• Ability to work independently and to prioritize tasks accordingly;

• Fluent Slovak and English;
