Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Master all aspects of each distribution center functional area (production, warehouse, transportation and administration);

Work in partnership with customer stores to identify and resolve customer issues;

Provide leadership and direction for the distribution center team;

Provide guidance and information to Operations Director in decisions affecting product quality, internal customer issues and customer service to stores;

Insure distribution center operations are in compliance with operations standards;

Provide input for financial decisions affecting distribution center;

Monitor actions and identify, develop and implement incentive programs to improve team productivity and job satisfaction;

The Successful Applicant

Assist with special projects and store openings;

Degree in logistics preferred;

5 to 7 years experience in similar position in logistics;

Experience in distribution operations (ideally food, HoReCa, Retail);

Strong team leadership skills and successful supervisory experience (in distribution center operations or support);

Experience in demand planning and procurement;

Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills and high level of analytical ability;

Willingness to travel;

Target-oriented problem solver with customer orientation, corporate mindset and start-up mentality;

Fluent in Slovak and English (ideally German)

We are searching for a Supply Chain Center Manager (m/f), who builds up the team and establishes and implements operations standards at the new location near Bratislava.
