Job description, responsibilities and duties

Key Purpose of the Role:
- To develop sustainable, long term, profitable business growth in specific, targeted and agreed new markets in Eastern Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help identify markets that offer realistic and achievable potential for Private Label and/or Customer brand opportunities.
- Research, identify and contact retailers, or other appropriate distribution channels, to present credible and convincing company and range presentations.
- Manage the development of profitable business with customers, ensuring budget expectations are met, or exceeded.
- Prepare Business Plans for markets and customers, with clearly defined objectives and targets, to be reviewed monthly, quarterly and annually.
- Work in conjunction with customers to help drive the joint business, with constructive and proactive initiatives, including: innovative and relevant NPD; promotions and marketing activity; efficient demand planning and stock control.
- Responsibility for P&L management for customers and markets, including forecasting and budgeting.
- Negotiate Supply Agreements/Contracts with customers, which satisfy each party's expectations, responsibilities, obligations and commitments and protect the company's best interest.
- Visit the markets and customers, as required, to establish and engender strong and long-term working partnerships.
- Understand the commercial and regulatory environment for each target market.
- Manage product launches, ensuring critical paths, launch dates and cost targets are met, whilst minimizing any write-offs.
- Ensure that all projects are managed according to the business processes and procedures.
- Work with other team and Group colleagues to ensure that customers consistently receive professional, prompt, correct and courteous service at all times.
- Maintain a progressive, determined, diligent, professional and proactive approach to the role, representing the company's best interest at all times.

- University degree
- At least 5 years of experience within the Healthcare/Retail sector, in business development, with a good record of achieving targets within the EE region (Poland, Baltics, Ukraine, Russia, Serbia, Romania)
- Pure Hunter mentailty
- Excellent verbal and written English
- Focused on results and be adaptable, positively minded with excellent relationship management skills
- Demonstrable experience of interacting with international customers or colleagues either in leading or participating in multi country projects
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and usage of reporting tools
