Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Your role

- Lead the HR departments in two locations (4 days in the main location and 1 day at a smaller plant)
- Create a „state of the art” HR in Hungary
- Implement corporate Human Relations strategy, policies and practices in the company
- Guide and support line managers in employment related issues
- Responsible for HR budget
- Responsible for compensation strategy and processes
- Continuously develop the HR processes (benchmarking)
- Labor relations and employee representative
- Support talent management and organize local training programs
- Support and drive job satisfaction, health and safety and overall wellbeing of employees
- Employer brand activities, build relationships with relevant partners, schools and universities
- Active support in hiring processes (electronic personnel request, recruitment process, final decision)
- Ensure employee information in HR system is up-to-date
- Create retention and minimize fluctuation of employees
- Business Partner for operations in Hungary, reporting to the Country HR Manager
- People Management: lead & motivate a HR team of in total about 10 people in different locations


Your profile

- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Business Management, preferred with focus on HR. MBA is an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years experience in HR management at multinational company, preferred Automotive Industry
- Experience at large-size industry company (focus on blue-collar employees)
- International or cross-functional experience
- Proven track record of leadership experience for a (small) HR team
- Relevant knowledge of Hungarian labor law
- Excellent English language skills (spoken and written), additional languages can be advantage
- Advance knowledge of MS Office
- Respectful, trustful, target-oriented, cooperative and team-oriented
- Very good analytical understanding, good understanding of figures and excellent communication skills
- Drives the change and empowers team members
- Intercultural fit: international experience (you studied or worked/ lived in several countries) would be a plus
