Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are seeking a Plant Manager for a manufacturing plant based in Nitra region. The mission is to coordinate the overall operations of the plant to ensure timely production and delivery of welding equipments to the clients, ensure delivery in compliance with safety, reliability and quality standards while achieving budget targets and deadlines.
The Plant Manager is responsible for production operations, industrial cost management, maintenance, stock and raw materials purchasing operations of the plant and ensures all legal responsabilities for people working in the plant area.
Key responsibilities:
Manages production and related activities such raw and pack material procurement, maintenance and quality department.
Develops and manages strategies, plans and budgets, ensures control of expenses.
Ensures productivity improvement by setting relevant action plan according to lean manufacturing principles.
Establishes and follows up performance indicators (KPI´s).
Takes part on managers performance appraisal.
Defines the chart organization based on Group policy and optimizes the headcount according to Business Unit needs.
Ensures that training and qualification programs are implemented and that quality procedures are followed by site staff.
Operates the plant in compliance with all governmental regulations and ALW specifications (IMS).
Takes responsibility for safety, health and environment.
