Specialized independent engineer in geotechnical construction company

Czech and Slovakia

• Analyze of site documentation, including contractual documents, construction documents, geotechnical reports, and design.
• Organization of geotechnical investigation by subcontractors.
• Offers preparation, costs calculation.
• Preparation of contractual documents.
• Participation in design process.
• Proposing to the client details of contractual condition.
• Handling good relationships with the client.
• Site resources organization: site staff and equipment.
• Site organization and supervision according to the contract conditions.
• Safety control of the works.
• Quality control of geotechnical works.
• Financial and works progress reporting to the company management.
• Close cooperation with different departments of the company

• High education in construction. Geotechnical profile will be an additional advantage.
• At least principal knowledge of geotechnical designing rules, geotechnical investigation analyses.
• At least 2 years of professional experience, especially design or supervision of geotechnical works, earthworks, or reinforced concrete works.
• Good technical skills, ability of fast learning.
• Good management and communication skills
• Capability of multitasking , and taking decision in stressful situations.
• Czech or Slovakian Good, communicative English,
• Good self-presentation in front of the client.
• Ability to work in different geotechnical areas ( Czech/Slovakia/Poland and other European countries)
• Driving license.
• Knowledge of computer software, AutoCAD, good knowledge of excel. Knowledge of specialized Geotechnical software like Plaxis, Goe5, Robot will be an additional advantage.
