Therapy Development Specialist
OVERALL OBJECTIVE/ACCOUNTABILITY
• Facilitating patient´s access to Medtronic Neuromodulation Therapies by seeking, contacting, engaging, cooperating and supporting referral doctors, other HCPs and patient advocacy groups
• Support users with technical questions
• Has knowledge or willing to learn about medical conditions and multidisciplinary application of Neuromodulation devices
• Actively seeking and maintaining on and off-line platforms for patient communication, identifying and developing patient ambassadors
• Cooperates closely with Patient Associations, Advocacy groups
• Driving PR-workflow from Medtronic Neuromodulation Perspective
• Understands and clearly communicates Medtronic core values and mission

Personality requirements and skills
We are looking for an ambitious, self-driven and passionate specialist to join our team in Slovakia. Your responsibility will be to develop the Neuromodulation therapies and business in Slovakia with new and existing customers in a way that enhances Medtronic´s and the therapies reputation in the market. You will be responsible for creating awareness about our Neuromodulation products and for driving new patients from the referring physicians in to activities extending the adoption of the therapy nationwide.
KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION
• Have a university degree or equivalent degree in medicine, pharmacology, biology, medical-engineering, nursing or related disciplines
• Have an understanding of health-care structure, patient routes, referral pathways in neurology, Physical medicine, neurosurgery, pain medicine, urology, proctology fields
• Pharma or medical device sales or marketing background is an advantage
• Very good command in spoken and written English
• Being able to work as part of team, but individally completing assignments on the field
• Technical skills
WORK EXPERIENCE
• experience in the medical (device) industry or in a hospital operation room environment is advantage
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a matrix environment and work effectively with sales force and customers.
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally in support of business activities.
