Job description, responsibilities and duties

*Purpose of the job
-Optimisation of the logistics processes with the technical possibilities of the SAP Business Suite product line.
-Support in various global SAP templates the leading IT ownership role for worldwide standardised supply chain processes.
-Ensure operational excellence and thus customer satisfaction by focusing on change request and incident process.
-Monitor the live cycle and stability of different SAP templates.
-Third-level support for logistic processes.
-Contribute to global harmonisation projects to ensure a high operational readiness, to minimise operational impact and to ensure a complete know how transfer

*Tasks
- Daily operational support including participation in development and configuration for change requests
- Participation in projects and execution of the assigned project tasks according to the project plan and the SAP operations team wide multi project resource planning
- Analyse, design , realisation and test of the SAP-solution for Logistic processes especially in the area of SAP PM “Plant Maintenance”
- Analyse and solve system errors regarding SAP PM “Plant Maintenance”
- Realise of requirements with an effort of less than 10 man days regarding the Linde Group project management guidelines
- Create and update the documentation according the Linde Group guidelines with focus on “Functional Design Specification”
- Specify and monitor the requested programming realised in the defined area of ownership, support SAP OPS approval process.
- Execute project related tasks in the area of SAP PM “Plant Maintenance” especially cooperate with external SAP consultants
- Transfer know how to new collegues and external consultants

Personality requirements and skills

*Work Experience*
- Minimum of 3 years experience in technical design, implementation and support of large scale systems (modules PM/CS and MM) including complex self developed applications and interfaces
-In depth understanding of complex business processes and ability to transfer this into SAP processes
- Experience with international rollouts and economic support processes
- Experience with mobile devices for maintenance purpose and their connectivity to SAP ECC
- In depth knowledge of SAP standard functionalities with the aim to minimise programming
- Basic programming know-how, ability to design and describe development tasks clearly
- High flexibility, willingness to familiarise with new tasks

*Technical skills*
- Usage of the Delta, ITIL and PMI methods
- Detailed know how of the SAP application regards logistics and production
- Detailed know how of the SAP business processes and the technical architecture like data model and programming language
- SAP Template strategy

- Very good English in spoken and writing
