Job description, responsibilities and duties
report to Senior Accountant responsible for account receivables,
carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines,
perform checks on the monthly invoice batch,
generate and send out invoices,
create manual invoices, credit notes,
generate payment and collection files,
book bank statements,
research and resolve payment discrepancies ,
generate receivables ageing analysis,
monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other
irregularities, initiate collection efforts by contacting the customer via phone or e -mail,
investigate and resolve customer queries,
assist in month end closing, perform account reconciliations and other controls,
maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices,
assist with other projects as needed...
