To fullfil this role, you will need to:
• be able to lead, inspire and motivate the teams working on the game, and maintain enthusiasm for the project
• provide strong leadership when difficulties arise
• be able to multitask
• create good working relationships with everyone involved
• be able to manage people, time and resources
• have excellent communication and presentation skills
• have good organisational and problem-solving abilities
• have good negotiation, conflict resolution and decision-making skills
• have good knowledge of games and the games industry
• experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• experience using JIRA or similar task management systems
• Experience as a project manager on video game production, shipped at least one game
• Overseeing all aspects of a game’s development and delivery
• exellent written English skills and very good oral English skills

The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of a game, on time and within budget.
The project manager works together with senior manager to co-ordinate the work of the production team, making sure that the quality and vision of the game is maintained, whatever problems may arise. They understand everybody’s contribution to a game and keep an overview of the entire process from start to finish.
During development, the Project Manager monitors progress against the schedule. She/he is the central point of contact for all aspects of a production, liaising with senior management, QA, as well as the programming, design and art teams, which can include any outsourced personnel.
The project manager oversees all aspects of the game’s development and delivery. They reprioritise when production deadlines are a concern, manage risks, and plan for contingencies.
The Project Manager might also have to oversee on-going maintenance issues even after the game is launched, involving updates, add-ons and customer support.
