Job description, responsibilities and duties
1. JOB SUMMARY
Active participation in new programs launches
Timeliness and accuracy of all Work Instructions, set-up
instructions and re-work instructions, etc…
2.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Co-ordinate and maintain physical layout of equipment, materials and storage.
Maintain accurate throughput calculations for all manufacturing resources.
Determine cycle times for manufacturing resources.
Identify bottleneck resources and capacity constraint resources.
Cooperation with lean department - operator utilization, ergonomics conditions and ergonomics stressors. Implement continuous improvements and monitor cost savings.
Perform standardized work studies.
Develop and maintain key performance indicator charts/graphs.
Co-ordinate problem solving efforts.
Evaluate and co-ordinate elimination of safety hazards.
Maintains equipment list and equipment numbering.
Establishes tooling list .
Key member of machine validation team, Key member of APQP team
Responsible for the production process from start to finish, updates, revisions, continuous improvements.

University education (Master's degree)
Language skills
English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills
A. EDUCATION
University degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering; or at a minimum college diploma as an Engineering Technologist
B. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• A hands-on, confident and motivated personality
• Knowledge of tube metal forming (bending, end forming) and steel welding processes (resistance, MIG) is an advantage
C. EXPERIENCE
Previous experience, as process engineer in an automotive environment preferred
University degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering; or at a minimum college diploma as an Engineering Technologist
