The Role:

The main responsibility of the role is to develop new business via new market sectors and segments and high potential customers, in order to deliver sustainable budget and profitability in the Czech market. To manage, develop and deploy the sales processes and tools to deliver rapid and profitable sales growth and increasing customer satisfaction.

• Own sales related activities in dedicated market focused on retail and FMCG supply chain sector
• Identify major opportunities and develop a sales plan to achieve targets in nominated areas of responsibility
• Build appropriate level relationships with prospects and sell in our client’s value proposition
• Complete thorough investigations into target company operations
• Develop commercial proposals in line with company policy, offering newest solutions, procedures and processes
• Engage and cooperate with other cross functional teams such as Customer Services and Supply Chain Project/Solutions to convert opportunities and implement our client’s systems
• Respond quickly and effectively to problems and shortfalls and be pro-active in this
• Maintain and improve the process to solicit customer feedback and identify trends
• Comply with the safety legislation, policies and procedures of Zero Harm
• Participate in current department projects and other tasks as delegated by the Manager.

Personality requirements and skills

The Person:

• Degree/Diploma in Commercial/Marketing required, Masters in commerce (or equivalent) desirable
• Experience preferably supply chain or project related in selling services to large organizations with complex decision making processes (Hunter profile)
• Existing client portfolio and senior relationships in FMCG and Retail sectors will be a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Czech/Slovak plus English with the ability to interact effectively with colleague across Europe.
• Experienced in the application of MS Office, strong numeracy, gifted presenter
• Worked successfully in a matrix structure
• Goal Driven – experienced in consultative solutions sales rather than pure transactional volume sales.

Your personal presentation, interpersonal and client facing skills will be excellent. In addition, you will be highly commercial, numerate with good financial awareness and strong analytical skills. You must demonstrate the ability to identify and create solutions to meet client needs and to execute implementation strategy, working cross functionally to call upon resources to meet customer requirements.
