Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking to strengthen our VOYO team from Bratislava with an English speaking developer who will be working together with VOYO core team to develop in a resource-efficient way the new VOYO features which will impact tens of thousands customers watching VOYO in Slovakia.
You will implement and deploy in cross-country environment functionalities of different VOYO platform modules: web store-front, integration with external payment service providers, video processing work-flow etc.
If you already have great experience in developing robust and scalable PHP backend /front-end applications using OOP, you are a master in optimizing complex MySQL queries, SVN code repository has no secrets anymore for you, you are comfortable playing with popular Javascript frameworks like jQuery / Backbone.js / Angular.js / etc., you enjoy staying closely in touch with latest W3C standards for HTML and CSS then we want to meet you and find more about you.
We will appreciate a lot if you have experience or at least interest in any of the following topics: video processing (encoding, encryption, packaging), integration with various CDN providers, integration with external payment systems, business analytics and reporting, quality assurance and quality of service activities.
