Job description, responsibilities and duties

The role of the Resource Deployment manager is to plan and organize team workload based on the requirements from project managers and aligned to the team capacity.

Responsibilities:

✔ Active communication with Project Managers to understand the demands and expectation of the projects
✔ Plan, organize team resources to fulfill maximum of the IBM and Client projects and service requests
✔ Be ready to re-organize the planning based on the new prioritization requirements
✔ Actively maintain team planning and perform the regular interlocks with management by providing planning summary report and project status
✔ Regular interlocks with Project Managers, Team Management to ensure the delays in the projects are also covered in plan
✔ Assign and communicate the projects into technical team, be able to push back project management requirements, if the parameters of the projects are not realistic

Typical daily business:

✔ Monitoring of Service Requests queue
✔ Check whether Service Requests are eligible to be accepted by Project Team and communicate missing requirements to Project Managers
✔ Ensure projects are evaluated by SME before they are accepted in Project Team pipeline
✔ Communicate project assignment with engineers based on their allocation and matrix skill
✔ Regularly being able provide project status to Project Managers
✔ On regular basis prioritize projects with Program Manager
