Job description, responsibilities and duties
HP ES Project Services requires a Exchange Subject Matter Expert to provide technical consultancy on Messaging and Collaboration projects for the HP customer base. This role involves designing, building and deploying Microsoft Exchange 2010 solutions, as well as providing specifications for supporting technologies in the lines of migration from previous versions.
Exchange Infrastructure Design
This role requires the necessary consultancy and design skills to produce high and low level designs for Exchange 2010 / 2013 production and disaster recovery environments, and other related technical documentation, according to HP ES standards. Good Migration and Transformation skills are essential
Technical Consultancy
The Exchange SME will also be required to provide technical consultancy on existing Exchange 20xx deployments, and migration from legacy solutions, and related technology, where required.

- At least three years of hands-on Exchange infrastructure experience.
- An excellent knowledge of the following:
o Exchange 2007 / 2003
o PowerShell (Administration, Scripting)
- An excellent understanding of associated infrastructure, such as:
o DNS
o Active Directory
o WAN’s
o Load Balancing Technologies (such as F5’s)
o Virtualization (VMware, HyperV, Citrix)
o Related hardware technology
- Experienced in producing technical documentation.
- Presentation skills.
- Experience in Lync 2010
- Experience in Lync (2010).
- Experience in programming using the SharePoint Object Model.
- Experience and knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
- Accredited in SharePoint Configuration to at least Microsoft Certified Practitioner (MCP) level.
