Job description, responsibilities and duties

Maersk Line Eastern Europe Cluster (consisting of Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia, Finland and Baltic countries) has an opening for Customer Service Representative, based in Slovakia, Bratislava.

We are looking for an outgoing, friendly, pro-active and communicative person to support the team of Customer Service department, dealing with clients from the Ocean freight area.

Holder of this position will report to Czech & Slovak Customer Service Manager.

Main tasks
- Ensure high customer satisfaction by handling assigned customers in a dedicated and professional manner
- Daily execution of order handling activities
- Deliver differentiated customer service solutions to clients depending on segments
- Ensure smooth delivery of containers
- Manage credit and payment issues in line with the company policy
- Represents customers’ interests
- Cooperate with other functions especially with sales, finance, operations and shared service center in India

Required skills and experiences
- High school education, preferably in logistics or transportation
- Work experience in container shipping is a big advantage
- Fluent English and Slovak language is a must
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Pack knowledge
- Optimistic, diligent and reliable personality with team spirit and willingness to learn new things
- Positive and supportive approach to work and to colleagues; pro-active attitude
- Very good communication skills and customer orientation
