Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Implementing and supporting the development of the group treasury strategy and procedures in the EMEA Region
Implementing regional financial risk management strategies
Contribution in setting up and implementing a lean centralized treasury model for EMEA Companies
Implementing – under corporate guidance – a common TMS and a home-banking platform.
Implementing trade finance tools (factoring, reverse factoring, confirming, …) by applying financial or treasury knowledge and securing an efficient processing with SAP
Supporting the Group Treasurer managing the bank relationship in EMEA with reference to cash and credit facilities, coordinating with Group Treasurer trade finance instruments like bank guarantees and letters of credit
Managing day to day relationships with local banks
Implementing and roll out the Payment factory for SAP based European subsidiaries
Managing and improvement payment processing and fraud prevention functions
Monitoring of bank balances, and reconcile cash positions. Manage and execute intercompany netting and payments
Supporting the daily cash management function for European subsidiaries.
Assisting in generating all necessary requirements for the opening, closing and administration of bank accounts and authorized signatures
Development of processes and systems to determine daily Europe/EMEA cash position.
Ensuring and monitoring adequate cash flow for all companies managed
Ensure that companies’ financial requirements are satisfied, through either intercompany loans or cost effective external funding
Participating in planning, budgeting and forecasting activities for financial purposes.
Ensuring treasury activities are in compliance with treasury policies, accounting guidelines, governance policies and internal controls.
Taking responsibility for, and supervising the work of, more junior members of staff

Information about the selection process

Five+ years of experience in finance and treasury, with a minimum of 3 years in a corporate treasury; strong treasury background
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Experience in managing and implementing (treasury projects).
SAP experience
Knowledge of capital and currency markets, accounting, finance and tax
Experience in SOX (or equivalent) compliance, as well as statutory and GAAP reporting
