Area Sales Manager Slovak Republic


In charge of the leading and management of Field Sales Representatives in Slovak Republic according to the Field Sales strategies with the aim to successfully accomplish the defined targets.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • To cooperate closely with the Regional Sales Manager to plan sales force strategy and tactics in accordance with the goals of the company.
  • Exhibiting and encouraging the highest levels of commitment, motivation and performance.
  • The organization and control of the regional resources to secure achievement of the sales objectives in the region.
  • Ensuring subordinates have the appropriate knowledge, skills and motivation to do their jobs.
  • To ensure correct planning, maintenance and controlling of the budget.
  • To regularly monitor and document the performance of the Sales team and make recommendations and corrective actions as appropriate.
  • Recruitment and development of Field Sales Representatives in cooperation with HR.
  • To ensure efficient setup of the sales regions (with the approval of the Regional Sales Manager).
  • To regularly conduct field visits, to regularly take part of the team meetings.
  • To examine the quality of the subordinates (their knowledge, abilities and motivation needed for a high quality performance in the respective positions).
  • To accomplish the defined targets and regularly conduct feedback interviews.
  • Observing Company Policies, Procedures and Standards and to promote quality and the maintenance of safe and healthy working environment at all times.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

  • The ability to organize and manage a multi disciplined sales force in pursuit of ambitious objectives in an aggressive price driven service environment.
  • Strong leadership skills encompassing a thorough understanding of sales management principles and techniques (motivation, coaching, training and counseling).
  • Considerable experience of salesmanship and negotiation.
  • Successful working on the position of Sales Representative minimum last 2 years
  • Analytical thinking.
  • Communicative and convincing personality with the ability to resolve stressful situations.
  • Goal oriented, structured and systematic work attitude.
  • Efficient PC knowledge.
  • Slovak native and English language is an advantage.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

  • The job holder must be able and willing to work long hours with the ability to balance the need for short term action against the longer term interest of the company.
  • The job holder must be a confident individual with strong interpersonal and assertion skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with all company managers is essential.
  • Frequent business trips are a standard part of this role. A full valid driving license is essential.
