Buyer - Team leader / Central Europe


As a Buyer - Team leader manager, you manage the growing and dynamic Non-catalogue department with 7 subordinates. Department is responsible for non-catalogue product sourcing and preparation of quotes & tenders for corporate customers. Team located in Pezinok is providing high quality service for 4 Central European markets - Czech republic, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Coordinate and manage the team, with the special focus on training and development, controlling, motivation and service performance reviews
• Deliver non-catalogue product solutions and quotes & tenders materials on targeted levels and defined service KPIs
• Measure, control and report departmental key indicators / response lead times, prices, margin /
• Support and provide high quality service to Sales team by planning, updating new information, making necessary improvements and by
reviewing the results
• Manage the preparation of quotes & tenders ensuring competitiveness, profitability and accuracy in a timely manner
• Coordination of non-catalogue product sourcing from all 4 Central European markets
• Identifies suppliers within the existing database, search potential suppliers and negotiate conditions of supply (product price, date of delivery)
• Analyze competition, especially concerning products and pricing
• Close cooperation with other departments within company to follow effective internal processes

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• High level of Leadership abilities
• 3-5 years commercial experience / purchasing, sales or marketing / and people management experience
• Process and result oriented person
• Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
• Ability to understand and handle complex commercial issues
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel
• Native Slovak or Czech speaker, English is must and German, Hungarian language is advantage
