Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Responsible for the planning and development of the QHSE Management System of the Project, following the general company strategy, policies and processes;
- Draft the internal project QHSE document structure which includes policies, procedures and forms in articulation whit the Project Manager and all the relevant Departments and Areas.
- Plan and monitoring the activities of the Quality, Health & Safety and Environment Department for the project;
- Prepare, verify and approve integrated QHSE Management System documents accordingly with the stated responsibilities.
- Plan and participate as auditor in the QHSE Management System internal audits;
- Promote continuous improvement through the Corrective and Preventive Actions, monitoring its implementation and evaluating their efficiency and effectiveness.
- Cooperate with the Quality, Safety and Environment Managers in maintaining contacts with local authorities;
- Cooperate with the Quality, Safety and Environment Managers in the tendering for specific services and monitoring the subcontractors;
- Supervise the Subcontractors environment permits, documentation, activities and equipment related with environmental requirements or environmental monitoring;
- Planning and accomplishment of Quality, Health & Safety and Environment awareness actions and training sessions.
- Monitoring the Quality, Health & Safety and environmental KPI’s;
- Control the costs associated with the QHSE Department;
Preparation of reports and meetings related with the QHSE Department and the Quality, Health & Safety and Environment issues.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- Degree in Engineering / Company Management
- Complementary training in Quality / Occupational Health & Safety / Environment;
- Internal Auditing Management Certificate or equivalent practical experience;
- Knowledge of the construction general requirements and standards, specifically the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001;
- Experience in similar position – 5 years.
