Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

* Responsibilities:
* Lead the deployment and support Excellence Production System in plants
* Promote deployment EPS in order to ensure continuous improvement workshops and a better competitiveness of the company
* Improves Safety / Quality / Cost / Delay / Productivity and helps to develop KPI performance of the company by actions within different departments of the company
* Coach and implement continuous improvement workshops
* Deploys methods and tools of continuous improvement (Kaizen, SMED, 5S, QRQC ...) by workshop implementation
* Ability to analyze workstations and production activities by focusing on process improvement
* Develops EPS standards with the aim of deploying Lean culture in the plants
* Interacts with all departments Manager’s to identify opportunities for improvement and loss reduction
* Identify levels of progress, define axes of improvement and quantify the potential gains on production plant in liaison with EPS corporate function
* Identify opportunity with processes mapping analysis
* Follow and track improvement actions to optimize plant efficiency performance
* Contributes to the improvement of EPS tools with center Function
* Participates in the development of Lean training programs with EPS center Function
* Authorities:
* Ensure EPS’s requirements and targets are reached
* Ensure the implementation of Lean performance indicators
* Show improvement progress to its hierarchy (Plant Manager & EPS center Function)
* To ensure that continuous improvement workshops / projects are applied according EPS methods and documents
* Evaluate plant performance by EPS assessment in order to facilitate improvement opportunities and benchmarking with the branch
* Participate to EPS assessment definition (or update)
* Assist and train EPS plant representative pilot during continuous improvement workshops (according to plant organization)

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

* Engineering or Technical degree with experience in Plastic manufacturing industry with a preference towards Automotive Manufacturing
* English – fluent, French (optional)
* Experience in Lean deployment and Lean tools
* Experience with applying Lean Manufacturing tools and methods for process improvements (QRQC, SMED, 5S, VSM,…)
* Be able to prioritize assignments and multi-task, as well as being a self-starter
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Willingness to travel
* Able to manage Process Improvement
* Skills to recognize potential problems and make recommendations regarding EPS philosophy
* Detail-oriented, capacity to deal with Complexity
* Knowledge and experience with ISO 9001 / TS 16949 & ISO TS 14001
* Experience managing with continuous improvement team
