Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

* Reporting to the Team Leader, the System Administrator is responsible for the administration of Microsoft Windows-based server environment. This includes management of the server hardware, OS and backup of clients for all production and development systems as well as support of associated technologies including Active Directory,Exchange Server and server management systems, HP SIM, Symantec AV and assorted monitoring tools.
* Other responsibilities are also monitoring of the tickets queue and resolving/assigning tickets as necessary as well as providing assistance to internal IS&T technicians, as needed, for Windows related requests.

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Windows server administration - Advanced

Personality requirements and skills

* 3+ years’ experience in Windows systems administration or systems design and implementation in a data center environment
* 2+ years’ experience in Active Directory and Exchange server administration and design
* experience in Windows scripting technologies (PowerShell, VB script, command line, etc.)
* hands-on experience with the following technologies: Windows Command Line Scripting, Windows 2003/2008/2012, Active Directory, Terminal Services, Exchange Server, Symantec Antivirus Enterprise Edition. Remote Access & Management via RDP, Monitoring tools
* experience in the finance industry would be an advantage
* strong team player
* ability to manage multiple priorities and commitments
* self motivated, directed and passionate about what you do
* must be able to work the occasional weekend, holiday and after hours support
