Job description, responsibilities and duties
* Item sourcing and maintenance of sourced item content (customer requests for quotation, supplier requested changes, and identified sourcing opportunities).
* Supplier selection and management based on customer needs and commodity strategy.
* Responsibility for accepting, validating and issuing supplier purchase orders to the supply base, resolving any issues that arise during the order fulfilment cycle.
* The end -to-end support of customer urgent order requirements.
* Support customer’s satisfaction objectives by ensuring all customer, supplier and related issues are addressed thoroughly and timely consistent with documented response guidelines.
* Understand and achieves customer cost savings and transactional timing goals.

* Experiences with similar purchasing position – at least 3 years – a MUST.
* Fluent in English, Slovak and German language – a MUST.
* Knowledge of the indirect materials supply base in the region supported.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, with strong understanding of Excel.
* Strong understanding of purchasing practices and standard purchasing systems.
* Capable of conducting price and term negotiations with suppliers.
* Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers.
* Ability to balance the need to proactively and aggressively manage supply base, while completing daily transactional workload within customer expected timing goals in an effective manner.
* Demonstrate strong skills in project management, verbal and written communications, problem-solving, time management and meeting strict deadlines.
* Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
* Fluent in English, Slovak and German language – a MUST.
