Financial Controller

- is responsible for all aspects of accounting, reporting, cost controlling and finance in general
- is part of a small management team together with the CEO and other representatives of company
- is responsible for the accounting operations of the company
- on a daily basis book invoices and bank statements
- ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner
- forward payroll information in a timely manner to the outside payroll service company
- ensure periodic bank reconciliations
- maintain an orderly accounting filing system
- book depreciation, provisions, accruals
- maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
- perform the month end and year end accounting close
- issue timely the monthly financial statements and report to the parent company
- support the outside accounting company in the preparation of the corporate annual report by providing the required information
- is accountable for the ongoing analysis of costs and margins, and tracing costs back to underlying activities
- donstructing and monitoring cost-effective data accumulation systems needed to provide an appropriate level of costing information to management.
- have full control on the production costs per unit, including establish the standard costs, compute the actual costs, and report on periodic variances and their causes
- recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations (production, cost, productivity) - calculate and issue financial and operating KPI’s
- follow up on accuracy of inventories (physical inventory, cycle counts)
- prepare the annual budget.
- calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
- provide for a system of management reports
- provide financial analyses as needed
- coordinate the information to external auditors for the annual audit
- comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
