Job description, responsibilities and duties

* Your job:
* Verification and posting invoices via the SAP workflow
* Controlling mandatory fields and other requirements necessary for invoice recording
* Processing returned invoices, cancelling invoices and checking open items
* Preparing payment proposal list
* Communication with the customer (e.g. purchasing department, approver of an invoice) and suppliers
* Performing controls
* Maintenance of master data (accounts, vendor groups)
* Participation in project work
* SOX controls

Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Croatian - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

* Your profile:
* University education in economical field is necessary
* The most important thing is proficiency in Croatian and English language - you should be able to communicate without major issues
* You will be also working with internal systems and standard MS Office package so we need someone with good knowledge of these tools and PC skills
* Accounting is not only about numbers but also dealing with people and deadlines, so you should be able to handle stressful situations, be flexible and ready to make the right decision under pressure
* This is quite independent role, therefore your future employer expects you to be fast-learner, responsible and autonomous
* There are administrative tasks you would be handling on daily basis that require an eye for detail, proactivity and good time-management
* The other part of your responsibilities consists in daily communication with your colleagues and suppliers/customer, so we are looking for somebody communicative, team-player, active, friendly, with positive demeanor and able to negotiate
* Actual experience in finance/accounting is really appreciated but not mandatory
