Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
* Initiate and manage Supplier APQP activities according S-PLUS with suppliers on a regional team basis
* Responsible to review and audit all supplier APQP deliverables like Control Plans, Capability Plans, Capability Studies, Part layouts, Gage design, Gage R&R, PFMEA, DFMEA (if applicable)
* Track and communicate supplier APQP reports to the Simultaneous Development Team on regular basis
* Manage APQP and tool timing via available e-tools
* Ensure that Customer, company and supplier quality issues are resolved using an appropriate problem solving methodology
* Ensure that program- and customer specific requirements are met by the supplier
* Be proactive in ensuring Suppliers achieve agreed customer and company milestones
* Ensure that Suppliers achieve 0-0-100-30 Launch objectives
* Provide on-site launch support at supplier locations as necessary
* Responsible for PSO & PPAP sign-off at the supplier
* Apply different OEM specific requirements related to audit (i.e. VDA 6.3, 2 day production) and PPAP procedures (PPAP, VDA 2)
* Ensure effective communication between company and supplier
* Work with “Supplier Launch Team” to ensure effective launch activity at critical suppliers.
* Work with Purchasing (Supplier Development) to promote and achieve Supplier Development objectives
* Make sure BOS procedures implemented and make suggestions when improvements necessary
* In addition to the above mentioned tasks other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined

* Professional qualifications in Quality Management and systems or equivalent.
* Minimum 2 years experience in a relevant Quality function and Industry – Automotive
* Specific education and training in Quality disciplines is required, including (minimum): ISO/TS16949, VDA 6.3. Process , all APQP tools
* Professional Certification as system and /or process auditor (1st/2nd party auditor)
* English - fluent, German - communicative
* Flexibility (Willingness to travel (60-70% )
